Spedstudio has won 1st prize in the IUAV Alumni Award and gain  2nd place at the Young Italian Architects 2012 award. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 28th at Palazzo Badoer in the presence of Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi. Spedstudio was awarded for the expansion project of the Gösta  Museum in Mänttä Finland.

Spedstudio is one of 10 finalists of the 2012 Young Italian Architects award.
The jury has selected Spedstudio's proposal for the Gosta Museum extension in Mantta among the 77 projects presented in the first phase. 
Spedstudio is one of  the 10 finalists for the second phase and among the 3 finalists in the category reserved for Iuav Alumni. 
The  Young Italian Architects award is organized by   presS/Tletter _ Associazione Italiana di Architettura e Critica together with  professioneArchitetto and with the support  of IUAV ALUMNI, in order to promote unrealized projects of young Italian architects "that stand out on research, innovation and interpretation of contemporary realm." 
The announcement and award ceremony will be held Tuesday, August 28th at 5:00 pm at Palazzo Badoer in Venice, as part of the event  Architects meet in Fuori biennale , organized by AIAC in occasion of the XIII Biennale of Architecture. 

The first stage of NIB2012 traveling exhibition will be held in Padua, on the terrace of Caffe Pedrocchi from April 1st to April 14th. The exhibition aims to disseminate the results of NIB Top 10 Award 2012. The award, now in its third edition, selects the ten best emerging  national and international architecture and landscape firms, under 36 with at least an italian partner. Spedstudio will present  Dep  and the competition entry for the  Casa della Memoria  (2 ° prize).

Spedstudio with MAARCH and C. Neidhardt - A.Zausa - M. Fontanive (Venice/I) won the competition for the all-inclusive assignment for drawing up a visual-quality plan and an overall layout plan for the area around Immerzeeldreef in Aalst / Belgium. The proposal will create 802 new dwellings and a 20 hectare linear park, a new core for the existing park network of the Flemish city.

The prize ceremony for "Casa della Memoria" design competition was held at the "Urban Center" of Milan in the presence of the mayor, Letizia Moratti, the councilor Giovanni Verga, Hines CEO, Manfredi Catella, and the architect of Porta Nuova masterplan, Cesar Pelli.
Spedstudio, in partnership with arch. Andrea Caputo and arch. Fois Carolina, won the second prize, ahead of Iotti + Pavarani Architects (Reggio Emilia) and 2A+P/A (Rome).
"Casa della Memoria", with an area of 2,000 square feet, will house the headquarters of some of the associations involved in the preservation and dissemination of "memory " of the conquest of freedom and democracy in our country, as well as multi-purpose areas and exhibitions.

Spedstudio won the 1st prize in the design competition for a new square in Albarola, Lodi.
The compeition aims to transform the big open space surrounded by via Saragat, Codazzi, Moro and Maestri del Lavoro, in a public square, available both to the inhabitants and the neighborhood. The square has to become a place to relax and socialize, allowing, in particular occasions, for exhibitions, markets and shows.

Spedstudio together with Atelier Christine Dalnoky and Cooprogetti soc. coop. has succesfully passed the selection for Carso 2014+ design competition.
Out of the 27 groups submitting the requested material, only 10 of those were selected for the competition.

This design contest, organized by the Gorizia Province "aims to create an integrated museum circuit which generates an unequivocal cultural, environmental and tourism system and guarantees the rediscovery of the existing heritage to remember the heroic events of the First World War. "

The former Legnago's sugar factory housed the ceremony for the 5th "Luigi Piccinato" Urban Design award. Ambiente Produttivo was selected among the projects presented in the young architects section. Enrico Dusi received the award in the presence of Renzo Marangon, Veneto Region councillor for urban design and planning policies,Roberto Rettondini, the Mayor of the City of Legnago,  and Joao Nunes Ferrero, professor at the Higher Institute of Agronomy - Technical University of Lisbon.
The catalogue, edited by David Longhi and containing all the projects selected by the Scientific Committee was presented during the awarding ceremony, .
