The first stage of NIB2012 traveling exhibition will be held in Padua, on the terrace of Caffe Pedrocchi from April 1st to April 14th. The exhibition aims to disseminate the results of NIB Top 10 Award 2012. The award, now in its third edition, selects the ten best emerging  national and international architecture and landscape firms, under 36 with at least an italian partner. Spedstudio will present  Dep  and the competition entry for the  Casa della Memoria  (2 ° prize).

Dep by Spedstudio will be shown as part of  9 architects / 9 proposals to live exhibition. Curated by Florence Sarano, the exhibition will take place at  Villa Noailles in Hyeres France from February the 19th to March the 25th of 2012.

Choosing 9 buildings in Europe, the exhibition aims to discover 9 architects and 9 personal universes being at these projects origin.

...Each of these 9 projects is a way of entering these universes: the hidden world that nevertheless brings to the project. The exhibition suggests discovering these works inscription in the authors personal geographies. 
What are the place and the role of the architect universe in this realization? Is the scale of the house an ideas laboratory for other projects? These 9 realizations also result of a complex and elaborated process. 
What are the used tools? Why? How does the designer play with them? What are the various steps of the project?
In the end, how does each architect’s universe feed on the project itself?

The exhibition thus proposes, in each room situated on the sports level, various admissions in the designer concept, with multiple tools (plans, photos, objects, texts and 9 movies). These 9 realizations put together are as many propositions as directions. Their juxtaposition opens as many constructions as possible. Visitors themselves weave the links between them. Behind disparities and likeness, behind the possibly sometimes identical questionings and the different answers, these 9 propositions reveal what the architects show during the exhibition time: parts of their hidden worlds.

From December 3rd to January the 9th, the Triennale of Milan - Bovisa presents Progetti di Giovani Architetti Italiani (Projects of Young Italian Architects). Spedstudio has been selected with Dep.

Inauguration will take place on December teh 2nd at 6.30 pm, Triennale di Milano - Sede Bovisa, via L. Lambruschini 31.
The exhibition will be open Tuesdays to Sundays from 11am to 9 pm, Thursdays from 11 am to 11 pm.

GiArch (Coordinamento Nazionale dei Giovani Architetti Italiani) and UTET Scienze Tecniche have initiated a proficuous collaboration to promote Italian Architecture under 40, by publishing a series of books and curating the exhibition Progetti di Giovani Architetti Italiani.
The best built projects by young Italian architects will be on show at Triennale di Milano - sede di Bovisa. The projects have been selected by a national jury and collected by a competition open to all young Italian architects.
The broad spectrum of collected built projects and the variety of typologies and scales allow for a significant representation of the actual condition of contemporary Italian architecture. The exhibition and publications are curated by Luca Paschini and are made possible by the collaboration of Fondazione La Triennale di Milano, GiArch - Coordinamento Nazionale dei Giovani Architetti Italiani and Utet Scienze Tecniche.
The exhibition will be followed by the publication of 2 volumes collecting in more than 600 pages, 80 selected projects, describing the development and construction of every building, from the initial concept to construction documents and details.

Mariposa, Spedstudio's entry for Casa Mediterraneo competition, will be exhibited at the Colegio Territorial de Arquitectos de Alicante, from the 29th of April till the 29th of May .

SPEDstudio’s entry for Trauttmansdorff Castle greenhouse competition will be exhibited at the Marie Curie school in Merano from 03.07.2009 to 07.07.2009.

SPEDstudio has been selected for the Rizoma Biennale for Young Italian Architects. The exibition will take place in Pontedera, Florence at the Piaggio Museum and will start on May 23rd
